PENTA ASM6610M – monocristalline module
Astronergy will completely switch to 5 Busbar production technology, starting mass production from August 2017. The new PENTA ASM6610M standard mono modules series with silver frames are available from distributors in the standard power classes between 275 to 290 Wp and in the premium series power classes with up to 310 Wp. All monocrystalline modules from Astronergy passed the extended stress tests from TÜV Rheinland with flying colours: During the test under a tensile load of 5,400 pascal – which can occur in very strong winds – the modules exhibited only minimal degradation of under 1%. This demonstrates that this solar module withstands considerably higher wind loads than many other modules on the market.
In addition to this, the new mono modules performed better than average regarding compressive load: with a load capacity of 6,000 pascal, they are also well suited to regions with high snow loads. This is partly due to the 40mm strong frame profile which has proven its extreme stability over years of being used in the field for other Astronergy modules. The new modules also fared well when tested for resistance to ammonia and salt mist corrosion.
In addition to the standard mono modules with silver frames, we also offer completely black mono modules. We tested the black cells of several established tier 1 cell manufacturers, but only two were able to meet our high expectations concerning the colour depth and uniformity of the cells.
In addition to these extremely high-quality black solar cells, Astronergy also uses black covering strips which hide the silver cross connections on the upper and lower edge of the module, so that the module appears completely black. The particularly homogenous glass of a German high-quality manufacturer completes the uniform look of the Full Black Modules.

The moulded junction box is IP67 rated. It contains the bypass diodes that allow heat to dissipate in a highly effective way. It also provides reliable protection against moisture and dust, and extends the operating life of the diodes. The solid frames protect against damage from freezing moisture, even during heavy frosts.
